Mental Health Impact Awards

The Deeper Cuts Therapy Mental Health Impact Awards honor individuals, organizations, and initiatives whose commitment to healing, community well-being, and mental health drives meaningful change across Sacramento. Honorees are leaders, advocates, and change-makers who work to improve the social and emotional health of their communities, confront harmful systems, and expand access to care, resources, and support. Their work reflects courage, compassion, and a deep belief in the power of connection and collective healing. This recognition celebrates not only individual achievement, but the ability to bring people together, elevate community voices, and create pathways toward wellness, dignity, and justice.

Announced in May during Mental Health Awareness Month, the Mental Health Impact Awards bring together community members, mental health professionals, advocates, civic leaders, and local organizations to celebrate impact and elevate solutions.

Community Engagement & Nomination Process

The Awards will be publicly announced, and community members will be invited to submit nominations for leaders and organizations making a meaningful impact in mental health and wellness. Following an open nomination period, 14 finalists have been selected and advanced to a three-week public voting period to allow the community to help determine award recipients.

Voting is now open! Cast your vote for the Deeper Cuts Therapy Mental Health Impact Awards. Nominees are leaders, advocates, and change-makers across three categories: individual, company, and volunteer/nonprofit.
